the board hires candidates with backgrounds in accounting, finance, and economic theories and a good understanding of data processing to work as financial systems analysts. information systems analysts are responsible for supporting distributed processing systems, including workstations and servers. analysts also provide technical support to clients, administer shared databases, analyze information system requirements, investigate alternative technologies, and recommend appropriate solutions. quality assurance (qa) analysts work closely with the other qa analysts, business clients, and it professionals during all phases of system development and deployment. the qa analysts work with clients to develop detailed system requirement specification documents, devise testing, document test plans/scripts, perform system testing, support user acceptance testing, and help prepare security documentation. the technology analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of automation tools, programs, and database systems essential to carrying out the responsibilities of the research communities at the board.
